My mum was in hospital from end of November 2020 to February 2022 which is when she died so Christmas reminds me of that time.

It's coming up to the 2nd Christmas without my beautiful mum and I'm so angry, yet so sad at the same time. He was her first grandchild and she so wanted to be a gran, it breaks my heart he won’t remember her.

He brought happy memories into my mums last months, even when she was very weak and unwell he made her smile. It's hard especially at Christmas but I take enormous strength from all that my parents gave me, everything they taught me; and i know they'd be delighted to know we're all happy and healthy and having a good time.

It’s never easy remembering the night he died, or even talking about it, but doing so has become part of my healing process. My mum passed away nearly three years ago (age and not cancer) and I really missed her, but you must really take care of yourself and those little ones.
