About this deal

Dachshund Through the Snow” by David Rosenfelt is the latest Andy Carpenter adventure, and an adventure it is. All products are printed in the UK, with sustainability in mind - on FSC certified paper with recyclable packaging.

The entire Andy Carpenter series is just entertaining to read, and “Dachshund Through the Snow” is no exception.

This is only my second novel by David Rosenfelt and I enjoyed it even more than the last and can’t wait to read more books in this series! I think I would have enjoyed the story more or gotten sucked into the action faster had I already been familiar with the series.

The obvious theory was that she had fought hard to protect herself and scratched her killer, since traces of skin were under her fingernails. With his trademark humor and larger-than-life characters – including a police officer and his K-9 partner, Simon – Rosenfelt never fails to deliver as Andy and his eccentric crew dash to reunite a family in time for Christmas. A tag on a Christmas charity wish tree leads attorney Andy Carpenter and his wife Laurie to a young boy wanting his father Noah Traynor to be brought home. This book which contains legal drama and high stakes criminal investigation is the 20th in the Andy Carpenter series. com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. Like any Christmas loving folks, Laurie's Christmas started right after Halloween and wanted to make wishes come true for a young boy looking for his dad and a retiring K-9 police officer. Choose one of the four greetings and fill in the fields for your, Salutation, Name and Address line one and Address line 2. While these aren’t serious books, they’re always well constructed and designed to keep you guessing.

Apparently the killer had had no other run-ins with the law, before or since, because his DNA was not in any database. Also, the supporting characters were as well written as the main character's and all added a layer of mystery, humor and humanity to the book. Every few years the Paterson Police ran it through the system, hoping for a match, but they were always disappointed. It got her to thinking that if baseball season could last seven months, it wasn’t fair that Christmas season lasted less than half as long. He is also very good at the unexpected, and very effective, plot twist, and a fun mention which lightens the situation.Rosenfelt creates a plot which seems simple but grows into something more complicated and more dangerous as it progresses. In addition, they have partnered up with Ecologi to offset their carbon footprint and plant more trees! But not until thirty-six hours after that was Kristen found near Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, New Jersey. Regular readers will find the whole familiar gang Andy Carpenter, wife Laurie, son Ricky, and of course dogs Tara and Sebastian, all anticipating the upcoming holiday/football season. The dad is in danger of being convicted of murder, and what he needs is a good defense attorney, which is where Andy Carpenter comes in. This is definitely a great addition to the series - as always Andy's humorous narration combines nicely with a twisting plot that holds some genuine surprises. It works that way with me and Laurie Collins, as she represents the human-decency side of our marriage. Another shady character dies after informing Andy of a most- wanted international criminal who may be involved. The cause of death was strangulation, and in addition to the killer’s leaving behind his DNA in the skin under Kristen’s nails, the same DNA was found on a piece of discarded gum and a half-consumed beer can near the body. DNA was found under the girl's fingernails and at the murder site but it could not be matched with anyone at the time. It frustrated everyone that even though absolutely incontrovertible evidence existed to tie the killer to the crime, he was still out there, free. Plus, this time there are two new dogs - Andy represents one dog in court, and then later represents the owner of the titular dachshund in a murder conviction. The story includes alternative POVs but only when needed to move the plot forward by characters other than the protagonist.
