He doesn’t hesitate to let Sammy dominate him in the steamy scenes because it is what she needs to move forward from her traumatic past.Sammy is sick of hiding her feelings for Sawyer so she decides that seems so they are spending so much time together she is going to go for it. The suspense in this one had me anxious to get through the story, and I may have stayed up into the wee hours of the early morning finishing it. It is really hard to suspend disbelief when you read about private citizens armed to the teeth literally flash banging someone's apartment and disappearing them. However, certainly in the case of Sammy (our FMC), it’s a really clever vehicle to help the reader understand how she processes her trauma.
