Because of its easy scoring system, it is thus a brilliant game that the whole family can play. It does say on the box ages 3-7, but the three of us really enjoyed being able to sit and play a game together around the dining room table. The game is aimed at ages 3-7, and for any more than 2 players. Each player takes it in turns to take a card from the top of the 2 piles of cards, marked “easy” and “hard”. They then have to make the sound depicted by that card. Players are not allowed to gesticulate or say words, only make noises. All the other players then have to guess what the noise is. Many a Christmas Day evening in my years gone by have been spent playing the board games of the day. Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Cluedo and Dictionary have been fiercely competed with friends and family over the festive period.And I am very keen to maintain that tradition with my daughter and my niece as they grow up.It is really easy to play this game, all you need to do I separate the cards into two piles. You have a pile of Hard cards Making the noises makes everyone laugh. As soon as a child can understand what each picture is then it becomes a proper crowd pleaser of a game. They don’t even need to be able to read, as the pictures are clear and easy for even small children to understand and have a go. Soundiculous is the gloriously silly, family-friendly game of ridiculous sounds. The aim of the game is simple – get the most points by making and guessing ridiculous sounds! As well as the traditional way of playing the game, there are also other alternative game suggestions for how to use the cards, including having a charades version where you could try and act the card out. Or for each player to do a drawing of the card to see who could guess what the drawing is first. My gorgeous OH, who is a teacher, also suggested making up a story sequence with your winning cards.
